Laugh Competition - Who Works For The Dumbest Company?

Ok, I think I am currently working at the hands-down winner in this category, but I thought that this would be a fun competition. So, bring on your worst stories of management incompetance, customer disservice, dumb business practices, or just plain old bumbling idiocracy. I'll start with a couple of gems from the temp gig I've been working at just to warm up the waters...

Exchange server outage that lasted 4 DAYS!
Group Policy set for screen savers not to start until 60 minutes on PURPOSE and the admins refusing to change the group policy because "that is the group policy, so it can't be changed."
Customer calls answered in random accents or movie character impressions.
Power outage occurs at random time night before the last day of a month before a holiday and somehow causes a router in a server room to be down for 1/2 of 1 day!
Users in some areas can hook up personal laptops to the company network and use them for work.
Requiring users with no technical training in remote sites to go into network closets to fix wiring issue with no guidance except that given over the telephone.
Using an increase in helpdesk calls as a benchmark of IMPROVED PERFORMANCE.
