If more would do it we might get something done about this situation. And if the manufactures had any type of common decency they would trade in the lexus for a honda and pass a little of the profit out as relief.

My biggest gripe is the SUV owners who whine and cry because prices for gas are cutting into their financial well being.

Protip: DON'T BUY A VEHICLE THAT GETS 15MPG!!

My car averages about 23MPG despite having a 24-valve engine and 120,000+ miles on it. I'd much rather have it than a brand new Escalade.

Re: Station owner closes pumps in protest

Our cars MPG is appaling(27mpg) by modern standards but it is about 12 years old and carries comfortably 8 people so it does rather well. And we dont moan or whine about paying the fuel costs, as with such a large family( and simularly sized dog!) its rather ecconomical.

We have a Audi A4 1.9TDi and that gets about 65mpg but gets as low as 45mpg going up a bank. Great miles to the gallon, shame the diesel costs a bomb

Prices are getting insane, and he should get a protest to get like 1,500 gas stations to shut down for not one, but two days. Be tough on the oil companies tell them lower their prices.

The ONLY REASON gas went up is because of the summer thats the only reason. I was paying 2.90 a month ago. now I'm paying 3.30.
