I dont see how its going to work, usually lock need the pins pushing up then turning to unlock something.

Rubbish! Locks require rotational motion created by an inequivalence of force off the line of the centre of rotation - a moment. Air pressure created by the tennis ball acts in all directions, with no significant deviations at any point.

I am told it would possibly work on an entirely keyless entry. Apparently keyless uses micro switches and it is possible the air will operate the switch. I don't have a car like that so I cant test it.
