Guess what happened on the day you were born...

See what happened, on Earth and in the sky, on the day you were born:

http://www.kakophone.com/kakorama/EN/

But, most important of all, YOU were born on that day - and you is all that's needed to make the world a better place. You can make anything happen.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELECT MEMBERS
@JohnthePilot: Sorry, John, but dates of birth in the 19th century are not supported.
@Glaswegian: Click on the "I'm a Martian" button (as a Scot you're close enough anyhow), and publicise that age from now on.

My birthday is shared with royalty. Makes sense when you consider that my first name means "warrior" and my middle name means "King."

You can go off people you know.

EDIT: For your edification, Alexander Fleming got the Nobel Peace Prize for penicillin, it was a full moon (hence the hairs on the palms of my hands) and I'll have you know I'm only 32.8 years old.

I'll deal with both GG and Zaz later too...

Funnily enough, having clicked on the Martian button, and then the Earth button, I'm now apparently 74 years old. My birthday, now April for some reason, is shared with Marlon Brando, Helmut Kohl and Eddie Murphy.

No wonder I prefer Mars.....

Re: Guess what happened on the day you were born...

Hey cool, Mikhail Gorbachev got the Nobel prize during my year.

These were my songs:
In the USA:
"How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" by Michael Bolton

In the UK:
"Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinead O'Connor

And I know none of those songs!

Hey cool, I'm 28 years old

Bloody phrasal verbs, they always come with umpteen definitions... Anyhow, it's never too late to getting to know each other, John.

You share the same birthday with Emile Zola, Hans Christian Andersen and Giacomo Casanova, and you call this "nothing special"?

I can't believe you've never heard of Sinead O'Connor. I'm glad Zaz posted the clip to improve your education. It's one of my all time favourites.

How fitting! My Chinese star symbol thingy is Monkey of Metal!!!

Nothing much else, they missed the death of Jimmy Hendrix (18th Sept 1970), 10 years before my birthday, and a year before Lance Armstrong was born.
