Smoke Blows Over Central Florida
That huge wildfire burning in Georgia is once again causing problems for people here in Central Florida.
The fire started about two weeks ago near Waycross, Georgia, and has now grown to about 100 square miles. The winds are now pushing that smoke and haze south, and fire officials throughout most of Central Florida say they are being inundated with calls. They say only call 911 if you see heavy smoke and actual flames. Smoke and haze can cause problems for people with breathing disorders or asthma. It's recommend if you have trouble breathing, stay inside and run the air conditioner.
