I never get a chance to, they are always monitoring the systems.

The other day, I got caught on Command Promt, the teacher was monitoring the computer, I didn't realise he was looking at mine, he print screened it, printed it off, and showed the technicians, because you aren't suppost to be able to access it, but you can create a shortcut to it. Anyway, he called me over, and just told me to delete it, luckly he didn't see what I was typing on it before... But all the good stuff has been blocked.
Then, the next day, someone else went on it, and got caught, only he was typing in things like 'System Password', which of course wouldn't do anything, and he knew that, but the teacher is an idiot, and thought he was trying to hack, so he got into deep trouble. But he did nothing when I went on it...
It's cos he is a idiot, all he knows with computers is about Microsoft Office, and he thinks XP is the only operating system, Microsoft Office is the only Office Suit, and Internet Explorer is the only webbrowser etc...

Anyway, enough with the Hijacking of this thread!

I was temped to take my laptop in one day, and try to hack into the school network so I could go on here

Our school computers are so restricted, you can't even use internet explorer any more. The tech guys don't know that you can turn a Windows Explorer window into an IE window though...

Also, the command prompt and all the other stuff is blocked. The computers are so restricted that Windows couldn't install the DST patch for it, so right now all the school computers are an hour behind. In addition, it was only two days ago that Firefox 2.0 was installed. All the computers were using some version of 1.0 before

Its OK, you can hijack this thread for a few posts.

As an IE user I couldn't help a little snigger at that

. However, you're obsessed if, like me, you have IE7, IE6 emulation and FF running at same time with fourteen windows open. How sad.

Wow, that's pretty restricted.
We still use IE 6, or 5, I'm not sure, but it seems like they don't know that there are other web browsers, and that IE is a load of crap!

Are you sure Command Prompt is blocked? All you have to do, is create a shortcut, and type in CMD, and next, next, and you are done. Click on it... If that doesn't work, create it at home, then put it on a USB pen, take it in, and heh heh!

You can't do anything appart from play Solitar though...

ours just have a LOT of websites blocked (addicinggames, youtube, etc.) and only ie, which gets really annoying because IE 5 sucks. (you know it, IE people)

The administrator has disabled everything, including cmd.exe. I can't even change the wallpaper anymore. Furthermore, right clicking is even disabled in Windows explorer.

Anyway, we shouldn't be talking about hacking my school computers here.

I am TSFing right now, and in Konqueror, I have four TSF tabs open, two Newegg tabs open, a Google search tab open, and an FTP tab to my Comcast server disk space open.
