Microsoft sued $1.52Billion!!

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- A U.S. federal jury found that Microsoft Corp. infringed audio patents held by Alcatel-Lucent and should pay $1.52 billion in damages, the No. 1 software maker said Thursday.

They sold the .MP3 extension for only $16million

They should have tried $16billion. Its the commonest music file extension in the world and I would have put its value higher than that.

They should be sued more.

You've gotta admit in industry thats a massive blow!

Especially as Vista production/marketing costs were high and sales have been poor.
