The Republic of Nauru

Independent country. In the center you see a phosphate mine. Since phosphate reserves are exhausted, the country is now nearly broke. Also, Air Nauru lost their only plane due to financial problems, so the island is cut off from the outside world. It's also the only country without an official capital and the world's smallest republic.

If it is cut off from the outside world, how do you know about it?

Air Nauru ( COMMERCIAL AIRLINES) lost their only plane due to financial problems .

But if you own a boat or a private plane , i am sure you can go there if you want to .

If you try to enter Australia illegally by boat you will be most likely processed in our detention centre there.
