I would say parallel.
A lot of LEDs have resistors with them, check if they do. I would have thought with the battery in the car, that wouldn't be too powerful to bust them. 6V battery right? |

If you wire them in series, you don't need a resistor, just as long as you make sure to calculate the resistance of all of them combined. Read up on the internets- it's all out there :)

But then you wouldn't have the voltage to run them. I believe he's planning on 10. With a 7v battery that less than 1 v per LED.

Ah, I had thought the voltage for those cars would be at least 12v, but I guess not. Also didn't realize we were talking about 10 LEDs either.
