mass pdf searcher

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm looking for a program that has the ability to conduct a mass search of pdf files, for instance I have a folder that contains over 400 pdf documents and I need to be able to search them all with a keyword, it would be way to time consuming to individually open them and search. Maybe there's nothing like that. If someone knows of app like that, let me know.

Your sig indicates that you are a Linux user but your ID shows you are using XP. I know nothing about Linux, but in XP, if you click Start>Search>documents, then select *.pdf as part of the document name, then under advanced options, you have the option of selecting a word or phrase in the the document you are looking for. This should find the file you are looking for.

Nice one John!

That's a lot cheaper! Sorry, I actully didn't look at the price, and I'm used to getting things free.
Glad it's sorted though.
