That's ridiculous... But I'm assuming you have no firsthand experience with the devastation a skilled slingshot user can inflict. Usually not lethal, but if you bean somebody with a ball bearing, you better believe they're going to hit the floor.

Yes, but it depends how they're made, most cheap ones deliver no power. They look pretty cheap 'n' nasty to me, in which case, inexperienced users will end up snapping them too quick -- especially where its needed immediately. A good slinger can kill someone with them pretty easily and so can a reckless or novice user. They will just resort to using flints and stones in awkward circumstances. Thats a bad move as the criminals will also use this tactic now.
