Student gets tazed when he can't produce ID

11/16/2006 - A UCLA student was using a computer in the library. During a routine security check he was unable to produce his ID. This led to him being tazed 5-6 times and handcuffed.

I wish all of my life's problems hit me when I was in college and knew everything.... if the man says stand up... you stand up. Of course, there is no mention of that in the article... that is about the 100 times that they asked the man to stand up.

I think he deserved it, not for the fact that he didn't have his library card, but for the fact of insubordination when asked to leave.

A load of fuss over absolutely nothing. Tazers were not necessary. The police didn't handle that well at all, and were being just plain stupid. The person was also being stupid. So S+S=2S. 2S = Mega stupid.
