Do Counterfeit DVDs Smell Different From Regular DVDs?

Do Counterfeit DVDs Smell Different From Regular DVDs?

The dogs are trained to sniff out -anyone- with DVD/CDs and subject those people to a search in the -hope- that illegal burned copies are found.

i wonder what's going to happen when some fortune 500 CEO is stopped on a business trip because a dog sniffed out his burned powerpoint presentation...

For heaven's sake - what next? A rabbit that can sniff out an illegal copy of Windows - over the internet? I scan all my credit card bills and statements - will they be safe from detection?

Are pirated DVD's really that big of a deal? I'd rather us training dogs to detect bombs instead of illegally obtained DVD's...

I actually like the idea here because it targets the big vendors who copy thousands of DVDs and actually do cost the movie industry money rather than the kid who wasn't going to buy bad boys 2 anyways.

I don't see why anyone would be transporting that many burned copies anyway, when it's easier to burn and sell in the same locale.

But in any case, I don't think the RIAA has any business in the airports- any check that involved anything except drugs and weapons shouldn't take place in an airport; that's just wasting passengers' time.

O wait they're trying to use these in airports? That is dumb. I was thinking cops would go into rink-a-dink video stores with the dogs and sniff stuff out.

You want to find pirated stuff? Go to Chinatown.

Pirated DVDs, CDs, Software (hell, I bought a ZoneAlarm disc just to see what was in it and all I got (for $5) was the Pro installer from ZoneLabs.com and a keygen)
