The Guinness Book of Records and Interpol say South Africa is the country with the highest rate of rapes, many of them against children, a conference in Cape Town heard on Friday.

Very sad. Sorting itself out will take time though. What does annoy me is the government's attitude towards AIDS. It's almost as if they don't really believe it exists - many people are dying or being infected because of the 'head in the sand' attitude. Ridiculous.
