PC Obsession

Computer users have been described as being anti-social and even obsessive. Is this really true? Should those of us who spend more than 50% of our time on a computer, be without a partner or without "non-computer" friends?

I'm sure some of my friends think so. Consider I go to work and I'm at a computer. Then I come home and I work on a computer. So I'm pretty much always on a computer when I'm home or at work.

My life mostly revolves around PC's at home and work. I do however have to "balance it", otherwise I would go crazy. Obsessive ? yes, I think so, but a good obsession. I always thought that humans were social animals so being without non-computer friends ? might be little challenging. But thats just me.

I usually spend an hour and a half or less each day on the computer, so I figure I have it under control for the most part. The only bad thing is that my dad gets riled up whenever he catches me playing Wolfenstein... I told him I'd stop, but I never did.

I spend, on a summer day, about 4 hours on the computer, average. Other times, I watch TV, and play video games. So I don't really do much else, except maybe read occaisionally.

And I have a couple of good friends that I hang with a couple times a month, and once school starts, school becomes my social life, and home becomes Computer and homework.

i dont think we should be without. A balance is needed, or at least near balance.
I do spend alot of time online for various reasons, I have plenty of real life friends, we do things together and stay in touch often .
I just prefer being on my pc rather thn watching tv or whatever.
I certainly dont think I am anti social O_O

Sing now the lusty song of fruits and flowers.

Hummm.... I spend (when I am at work) about 10 to 12 hours a day in front of my PC. And co workers say I need to get away everyonce in a while. Now, When I am off work I spend little time in front of my PC. Friends.... what is that lol
