TSFs Wikipedia Page

... needs some work.

I have no idea who created it (danrak?)

but its a little small, as well as being orphaned.... perhaps someone here is a regular wikipedian and knows how to fix this without looking like we are trying to **** the site?

Hmm, it's lean and can be enriched while retaining NPOV at the same time.

Being linked to I believe is the most important priority for the time being.

The three hottest entries I see as having potential for a link to the TSF entry being placed are:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_community
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volunteer

Plus, by developing the TSF article, more terms will be introduced, and these terms will require links to their own articles; and ultimately the TSF entry will become a nicely interlinked one.

When I saw DD's post I checked out the article, and it was only tagged for being orphan. Now it is also tagged for not being wikified (i.e. conforming to Wikipedia's layout & style guides), and for not citing its references & sources. So I believe our wiki-proficient members should better getting it organized.

Moreover, its current discussion page contains the following:
Quote:
How about giving a reason why you make a revision. Tech Support Forum is not a generalized term to refer to any technical support page.

You cannot call a volunteer-based, out of pocket site an advertisement. Reverted.
So, it is on our side that we are a volunteer-based, out of pocket site. Let's get it moving!

Oooops, I almost forgot! KUDOS TO DD FOR FINDING IT - AND TO FOX FOR DOING IT!
It's been around since Sept. 11th, 2005! At least now we have a chance of making it better!

Ok, I made it look a little prettier, but unfortunately, I don't have time right now to do everything to it that I wanted to... feel free to add stuff, but I'm gonna be working on it more later tonight.

No, it isn't an article site, its a reference...

We need just general info on it...

For me the $64 question is this: will tidying up this article be a team effort or not?
