I will never order scallops at a restaurant in Florida. Never. Because most of the time, it is a scate. Yes it is a hole-punched sting ray. Enjoy.

I mostly buy fresh fish. Yea I know. Fresh fish in Nebraska? There is a Japanese store I frequent, that has fresh fish flown on the first Saturday of every month. |

the whole Omega 3 or whatever it is in fish, but there is also a lot of Murcury. I don't like fish too much. I'll eat it every once and a while, but don't generally enjoy it. I do like clams, shrimp, and stuff like that. Mmmmm....yummy! is it time for lunch yet?

https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/rankorder/2102rank.html (Greece is #25 - woot, woot, woot!; you won't get rid of me easily!) I addressed hempknight's wondering "if there's mercury in fish" - and told the truth: "you bet there is!" This does not mean that this thing alone decreases life expectancy. For example, check this out: Tobacco smoking is generally accepted to significantly reduce longevity, and is one of the main statistical factors explaining differences in life expectancy between advanced nations. This may be offset by other factors; Japan, a country with a high rate of tobacco consumption, has one of the highest life expectancies in the world (81.25 years, 6th place). (BTW, Greece also has one of the highest tobacco consumptions; yet you find it in the 25th place when the States are in the 48th.) Hong Kong, a dense 7 million people city with constant stress, recently reported a higher life expectancy than Japan (81.59 years, 5th place). So - you can never know...

XD I tend to do that also, unless it is something I don't like. Like onions, or lettuce. It is weird, I like salad (lettuce plus a heap of dressing and w/e else I throw in) but I detest lettuce. Unless the lettuce is in a salad I WILL NOT eat it. And it is bad cause at Mexican restaurants they put lettuce on nearly everything....
