EEK! Please tell me if I'm going crazy...

Ok, so a few days ago I started not being able to get here. I don't know why, but it just suddenly started happening. I thought the server was having troubles again. Anyway, today I decided to see if I could find out why. I did some checking on the domain name, the name servers and IP addresses. Everything checked out fine. Then I noticed i was using the following URL: "techsupportforums.com". Notice the "s" at the end. So I figured I'd try it without the s and see if that did anything. Sure enough, I'm here. Did the domain name get changed or something? Or has it always been "forum" and not "forums"?

Also, now that I'm back, there's a completely new skin being used. Everything looks different. :o

No, you have not lost your mind. The forum changed servers and is using the latest edition of the v-board.

This change, coming on the heels of our crash, has left more than you a bit dazed and confused.

Welcome back!

Ya! VB3 is cool!

And the new server was partially paid for by selling some of the domains that point to this site. www.techsupportforums.com was probably one of them...

danrak told me way back in the day that he wanted it to be techsupportforum.com, but he was still letting techsupportforums.com work too.

i think he finally locked the other one down.

I got back to this new site via my old activation e-mail. Also couldn't find it for days on end. I got desperate. Great new look btw.

we had some serious problems...

first, we had a server lagging out.
then, the server died.
then, the forum was restored using an older backup.
then, we had to change to a more functional version.

but, now we are up and running again.
and most of the bugs have been worked out.
