Good news I hope for Iraq but is it right for us to celebrate somebody's death? Doesn't that bring us down to the terrorists level? Yeah it's war and people inevitably die but it surely doesn't make it any less wrong.

Maybe we should threaten Baghdad and Afghanistan with a nuclear strikes, I'm interested to see if the nuclear deterrent actually works against narrow minded, ignorant, self-important, brain-washed morons who see death as a good thing.

This post is mostly about this dude being dead. You still may be able to find the video of him loping off dude's dome. It is horrible and shook me to the core.

Dr. Harold Shipman murdered over 200 elderly people by giving them overdoses of morphine. Like our recently deceased foe Abu, he was just a mental case, screwed in the head who got all the wrong ideas and convinced himself he was doing the right thing. We just put Shipman him in jail, we didn't call for his giblets to be sprayed around, it isn't necessary.

Don't get me wrong people I'm glad that fool is out of the way and I don't really care that he took a missile up the stink tube but we shouldn't celebrate the fact that he is dead, that is just bloodlust and we're not savages anymore. We should celebrate the fact that the world has one less idiot who wants to kill us all.

IMHO your heads are in the wrong place here, the bigger picture is more important than your satisfaction over the death of a sadistic killer. The bigger picture being our families, friends and servicemen in Iraq having a safer place to work, and indeed the rest of us. Afterall, this war is about oil. Eerm, I meant eliminating the terrorist threat to us all.

Okay but I do believe a rusty saw blade does hurt more than a morphine overdose.

True but that's just a measure of how sick he was, it's not a measure of how happy you should be now that he's been mopped up. Like I said, you should be celebrating the fact that he can't do it anymore. That, I believe, is the only good aspect about this and it is a very good thing. Shipman was put in jail so he couldn't kill anymore and we were elated that a serial killer was out of the picture, he eventually committed suicide - the coward. Don't you think these two scenarios, although very different on the face of it, are actually equivalent?

This is of course just my opinion, I don't always subscribe to the 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' methodology of justice and I never believe it is necessary for people to die.
