pop ups

... unbelievable


2 years i never had popups and now its starting to pop up

and no i have not been watching porn


i ran adaware ... i put up one pop up blocker (ad filter)

but its still not working


and i forgot how to get rid of these !! should i run hijackthis?
spybot? or other virus .. or adaware spyware removers?

do you use firefox? if yes do you have adblock? if yes do you have Adblock Filterset.G Updater? if yes do you have dutchblock?

the pops died out now

maybe its when i open a certain program

Don't want to panic you or anything, but it might be worthwhile running through Microbells 5 steps (see link in my sig) and see what turns up. If you're still concerned, post a HijackThis Log in the Security Forum and we can at least let you know if you're clean or not. Although the pop ups may have died, there could still be some bad files hiding on your system.
