New Fire Fox extension, it launches embbeded video in your external player
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/446/
This extension lets you view embedded RealMedia, QuickTime, WindowsMedia, Playlists, Flash, background sounds, Nullsoft video, and Shockwave files externally. It works great although It has yet to work with youtube flash for me, can't figure out what's wrong. But other than that works great especially for oversized windows like this, http://xboxmovies.teamxbox.com/xbox-...ngame-Footage/

Ok if I set windows media player to play the flash videos it works, but it doesn't enhance anything. FLV player just doesn't want to work for me, can anyone recommend an alternative?

Not sure but I don't think you can adjust the play speed with that version can you? Sometimes I like to slow things down or speed them up.

You can slow videos down to 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 speeds, and speed up to x2, x4 and x8 using either the onscreen controls or the keyboard, and there's also a frame advance feature that works forwards and backwards.

I used to use MPC, but I eventually found launching an external player every time there was video was sort of counter-intuitive unless it was something that wouldn't play as it was imbedded.
