FORT WORTH, Texas -- A fight between two brothers over a piece of chicken ended when the older sibling fatally stabbed the other in the chest and temple, police said.

Marcus Williams, 21, was arrested and charged with murder on Friday in the death of his 17-year-old brother, Michael.

The teenager had returned home with some chicken when his older sibling took a piece without asking, police said.

After the two fought, Marcus Williams allegedly retrieved a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his brother.

The victim died a short time later at a nearby hospital.

Three other family members were at home when the attack occurred, police said.

I swear my brother and I have gotten into fights just like that...usually one of us realizes how far it's gotten and will leave the house and we won't talk for a few weeks afterwards. Gotta love that sibling rivalry!

Gives new meaning to the term food fight. Their fights must not have been uncommon for noody to break it up. My sister pulled a knife out on my brother, but he knew enough to back off (until she went to sleep).

My little brother once got so mad at my taunting that he threw a butter knife across the table toward my head. I ducked in time and the thing inbedded into the wall behind me. Needless to say he suffered for that. I did realize that teasing can be carried too far. BTW: we were 9 and 7 years old.

i dont really have much of a sibling rivalry. me and my bro get annoyed at eachother but after football we are normally very happy. unfortuently, he is leaving for college and i get to stay with my sister who is a 100% perfectionest which REALLY gets on my nerves

never had a brother, but my sister and I got into it a few times. She pissed me of something fierce one day so I wacked her in the back with a wooden cooking spoon and gave her the biggest welt I've ever seen. She cried, but didn't do a whole lot about it until she decided to get even and asked me to help her drain the maccaroni. Needless to say I got boiling water dumped all over my hands....no perm. damage done, but we both got grounded for a LONG time!

When fighting with my siblings we could get REALLY violent. No bones were ever broken, but there was plenty of blood.

I am blind in my right eye from swordfighting with my older brother so I do not avise anyone swordfighting with sticks because accidents can happen
