Thumbs Up Hello

My first PC was a Tandy 1000 and I thought Kings Quest I was the best game ever when it first came out. Before that I was learning how to load 'MINER' to the comodore PET computers ("PRESS PLAY on tape 1 now") and program in BASIC. It wasnt until 333 Mhz came out that I got involved w/ PCs again. I have since given that box to my daughter.

I now run a P 3.3 w/ 2 GB of Ram and over 800 GB of hard capicity. I can copy nearly anything, with the right software to back it up. It has been a steep learing curve, with all my training being through Dells tech support (before they outsourced to India) Or through other forums that I belong to. Along the way I have reached a level somewhere in the middle where I can help those below me and still get help from those above.

I have probably been to more countries than many of you have been to states in the US. (for those of you who are from the USA).

I have in the past hosted my own FTP... it's still there, just not online. I have instead gone with hosting a WASTE network and find the whole process much simpler to administrate vs a FTP... and the transfers are secure.

I'm really into podcast trolling now... just browsing the different topics.

I am normally able to find an aswer to just about anything though my circle of forums. Either that or I find myself too far out in the field and realize my idea wasnt quite ready for the world.

Cheers
