Hello from a passer-by or possible member

Hello everyone.

When coming across this forum on a Google search I was so friendly welcomed that I am following the invitation to say hello to all although I am not sure whether I will stay. I just hit on a problem where I thought I could perhaps help.
But I have a lot of problems myself and am still searching for the right forum. I cannot afford to be present in many forums because as a German I need more time to prepare a post than a native speaker.
This forum looks inviting enough although I had some difficulties to find the "Introductions forum". But now, here I am, just passing by or perhaps happily staying.
