I just joined and thought I would say "hello". My daughter allerted me to this site and it looks very good. I am an advanced beginner. That means I can turn this thing on.

Welcome to the forum. If you are an "old guy" as you say, you are in good company one way or the other. Oh, I am not saying I am old (aah, cough), but I know some of these other guys and gals are. See you around the forum.
