I just wanted to say hello to all of you. This is my first posting. I plan to contribute as much as I can in the future. I'm from Switzerland and I am interested in computers in general. I have assembled myself during the last 5 years some 7 or 8 PCs. They all work fine because I only put in brandname components. Only the best is good enough. Like this forum.

Hi, and welcome to our forum. And I hope you feel at home here. You will find all kinds of people here, many like yourself who run with the latest/greatest, to the "batty" ones like me who throw some parts into a box, configure it with a free Linux OS, and think it's a computer.

Even my LCD monitor here was made out of two non-functional units.
