Hello, looking to learn more about computers!
Hey all,
My name is Chris, and I'm from New York. ![]() I am new to the Tech Support Forum here. I am looking to learn more about computers - everything from hardware to programming - and this seems as good a place as any to start. I know some basics, enough to get by on, but I want to start working with more advanced aspects of computing, and I am interested in replacing my old HP computer with something I can build myself. Just wanted to introduce myself. If anybody has any advice as to where and how I can best begin my journey into the world of computers, I would be much obliged! I am looking for any sort of websites or blogs, especially tutorials, where I can learn more about computers! I believe my desktop HDD is giving out, since it has been operating very slowly and making some "unpleasant noises," so right now I work on my Acer Aspire 3680 - Windows Vista - 512MB RAM (yck!), nothing special. That's about it, glad to be here! Chris
