Hi

I found you guys with a search in Google. Primarily due to the fact that my mom's computer has/had a serious malware infection. I know a little bit about computers, and am ashamed that my mom's computer got the way it is.

I have a laptop and a 2006 custom built desktop PC. Plus I play Xbox 360 from time to time or I am studying, reading, preparing for school. I am going on 14th year of school (sophomore in college).

Cheers.

I heard my specs are really out date compared to today's computers.. how do others compare ? I'm not a hardcore computer user or anything and know that most other's computers should blow this out of the water, but nonetheless I love my computer. I have no problems with it and it is sufficient in serving my needs.

# Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
# 2.13 Ghz
# Genuine Microsoft Windows XP MCE (TM) SP3
# 2048MB RAM Memory
# 320GB Hard Drive
# DVD Re-Writer Drive
# 5 USB Connections
# 21" Widescreen Dell (unspecified)

Nothing great. I'll stop there. I look forward to building my first computer probably in 2010. For now, I keep this computer EXTREMELY clean and it runs still brand new as if I got it yesterday. I restarted everything in Jan 2009. Reinstalled windows.

Thanks for having me here.
