Gettin' oriented here - just now subscribed

Visited here quite a few times, typically with good results; decided it was more than time to subscribe. I'm an old guy, and I've been around some. I'm a member of a whole buncha help/support/privacy/security/"ask-an-expert"/general discussion forums and participate in a number of rlevant UseNet newsgroups. Prolly take me a little while to figure out the ins-and-outs and bells and whistles hereabouts, but I'll manage, I'm sure. Anyhow, thanks for the info I've already taken advantage of. I look forward to learnin' who's who and to participatin' here.
