Aliant TSR says hello
I actually registered awhile ago but never gave an introduction, I'm a TSR working with Aliant.
I've been working for Aliant for a few years now, have most (all) of there BS technical manual drilled into my head, and due to 2 and a half year of reminding people that they have to click on a text box with there LEFT mouse button and that the backspace key is infact above the enter key and they can use the arrow keys (not the ones on the number pad) to move the text cursor. 20 minutes to have customer go to a URL etc... Has made me very cynical towards anyone who can't find the start button. On the other hand there are funny moments too like when a soccor mom called in threatening to sue because little Timmy found pr0n on the internets. To someone RAGEING over there internet connection going down during an online poker game (IRL moneys) most of which we just /mute_mic then /spkrphone provides some very entertaining aspects to the job. Does anyone else have similar experiences with being a TSR? BIO: Technical: 2 1\2 year TSR experience (with years experience besides it as a hobbiest) Political: Independent Religious stanse: Atheist Computers: Phenom 9500 HD3870, Soon to have an iMac Interests (besides computers): Back country snowmobiling Life Plans: I plan to enroll in the Toronto Film School Last edited by Galatic; 12-21-2008 at 06:45 PM. |
