nOOb Alert :)

Hi All.

Just registered and was lookin' around for the noob questions area when I saw this and figured I better say hi :)

I'm a Middle aged RPG Fan who knows just enough about Harware to be dangerous, while software is kinda like the bible, I find someone who seems to know what they're talking about and treat it as gospel

I enjoy building my own PC's, it's amazing what one can accomplish with a box full of parts and a swiss army knife, and turning on the power the first time is always such a rush, I'm never quite sure if it's going to work or spew smoke from all orifices

At the moment I'm working on my 4th PC, makin' the jump from AMD to Intel, and realy hoping that the performace jump is at least half as far as the cash jump, sheesh, intel stuff is pricey ain't it

guess I better go ask my nOOb Q's before I forget what I wuz gonna ask.
