Hello from the middle of the US

Hello,
I've been on this forum for a few months and never introduced myself. I am a network admin at a booze warehouse. I look over 5 servers (2 domain controllers, file server, exchange server, webserver all with Win2K3) and about 50 work stations (WinXP). I been messing with computers for about 27 years. Starting with a Honeywell 6080 Mainframe, built a Healthkit H89 with a 8080 CPU and 16KB memory. Those were the days when you ran everything off of floppies. Nowadays, with my main job, I build, sell, service, and network PC's. I try and stay atop the cutting edge equipment but funds can only carry you so far. I have tried all types of hardware, CPUs from AMD to Zilog, Hardrives from Micropolis to WD. I have even played frisbee with 14" mainframe platters. I believe that everybody has their own opinion and I have mine. But these are mearly opinions. Just like cars, everyone has their own flavor. I like to help people with their computer problems that way I know someone is out there to aid me if I need assistance. I am glad to be a part of this forum. It seems like fun.

I wish it was that easy. It is very hard for a consumer product that is heavily regulated by the government. I, myself, have to have a liquor license to even buy from here.

Wow, thats crazy. I know that the people at Busch Gardens down here in FL get a case of beer from Budweiser every month.
