Hi
Thanks for the warm welcoming message. I am basically computer illiterate and run into problems I sometimes can't solve. My main computer use is related to a hobby. I grow chile peppers and communicate with other growers around the world. I document them with photographs and have a picture site so I can share them with others and on forums. A couple of days ago I got infected with pc security lab and after trying several things that didn't work I signed up here. I tried to follow your instructions but got stuck at step 2 ( I won't) go into all of that) and finally took a drastic step and switched the C and D drives in my computer and installed Xp on the other drive which was empty ( I had tried a repair/install and that didn't work)--so now I am setting up a "new" computer. Suggestions for programs to avoid virus and spy ware in future?

Re: Hi
From Australia, "The Land Down Under", John...Welcome to TSF! ![]() My suggestion for starters to cure the majority of your issues would be to install SP2 on your machine. Enjoy your stay with us. Regards,
