HEY UP! from England
Hello All, I am an old (ish) guy from England, I got my first computer 10 years ago, but did not really start using it until 2 and a half years ago, when I first felt the need to learn about my new home (we bought a house in Turkey) and BINGO! I learned there is a whole world out there at the touch of my keyboard, my typing skills have even progressed from one finger to two! The internet is a fantastic tool and a brilliant toy, however I am learning that there are fiendish people out there who also think it is a great toy in which to have fun by creating nasty things to secrete into all sorts of apparently innocuous sites just to cause headaches for the likes of me!.......WHY?.....What have I ever done to you?
I am learning my way around the computer and am getting quite good at fixing things for myself however it is good to know that when I have a problem that I need help with there are people out there in cyberspace who can help me. For that I thank you and salute you! ![]()
