Obviously new, otherwise why introduce, right?

I'm a 31-year-old not-technophobic-but-not-knowledgable-either gal from the upper Midwest, who has recently acquired a computer. Moving up in the world from only-at-work use to home use

Hoping the forum will have good information and helpfull hints for an inexperienced "idependent" user..... I don't think my corporate IT guy would appreciate calls about my home computer!

I look forward to chatting and learning on this site.
