Cool Re: Hi

Same feeling here, I use the internet to solve many problem, not just computer related. Here is a good starting point.
Joined up to get some advice on completly removing my HP printer software, a new update would not let me use my refilled generic cartridges-as the printer is 4 years old, and not supported without payment-I felt this was an imposition in more ways than one. Managed over the week end to remove, but took ages.
Anyway I digress-I am sure there will be many times I log on here for assistance and look forward to helping others if I can.

Re: Hi

I used refilled cartridges in an HP G95 OfficeJet.

I was advised by the store that you each cartridge has a serial number on it and that the machine stored the numbers. You need to rotate cartridges and then the old serial number will not be recognized as an empty by the printer software.

Thanks, will try next time I get orginal cartriges-though seriously considering a Brother, have to check out their rules on generic and refilled ones first though.
