"Howdy"

Hi Folks. Newbie to the forum here.

I guess a bit of background: I'm a training coordinator/developer/instructor/network engineer/whaddevvah for contact company that supports Cisco-based networks. No genius here as I am always learning. I use WinXP as a normal "office" OS and support a net mgt software product that is built on RH Linux Enterprise.

Cajun by birth...& a transplanted Texan. I'm a darn fine do-it-myself cook (Specializing in Cajun (from Louisiana orig), Texas-style BBQ (learn that), Italian (live there) and Tex-Mex (Love Mexican food).

I'm also an insanely huge aviation history nut & enjoy flight sims but have no time for them :( . I'm also an award-winning scale model builder and manage the web site for a local scale modeling club when I have time.

I'm just getting into scale model aviation myself, but couldn't be at a worse time- I'm going back to college in a week :D

I bought a .40-sized trainer, and on the first flight, the monokote came off the elevator and so it's grounded until I find the time next summer to fix it.
