Just Joined

Good afternoon all,
I joined the forum today and want to introduce myself. I use the handle of Scifibuff because I love science fiction. I find myself somewhat addicted to the scifi channel. Anyway, I am a school teacher and one of my hobbies is computing. I have built all of the computers that I use. I'm stuck in the socket 478 era because I really can't afford a fancy new model. I upgrade as inexpensively as I can. I spend alot of time on Pogo.com or playing installed hidden object games. It's cheap entertainment and saves gas.
I look forward to chatting and hopefully receiving guidance from all who can help me. I am posting one of my problems after this intro. Thanks again for having me and have a great day. I'll help anyone any way I can, but remember that I am no expert, only a fan.

Thanks to all for the greetings. My wife and I have been watching DVD's of "The Amazing Race". We love the show and seem to watch again all the seasons every summer. The show has taken competing teams to many of the countries that you all represent, especially England and Australia. I feel as if I have almost visited you. Your countries are beautiful and the people seem very friendly and helpful. Once again, thanks for the welcomes.
