greetings everyone
Although I have been at the computer thing a long time, (first system was a vic 20), and was know to have logged into a Prime Mini at college, which really dates me, I have learned the hard way, there are no stupid questions.
I work in the printing industry and use Unix/Sun boxes, Pcs and Macs and have grown to hate and love them all.... Sometimes they just crap out for no clear reason...until you realize it was you, er, me, that is, that pushed that stack of client cds one way which pressed -up and shoved something else which hit the power button on the power strip hidden behind....we all do dumb things - which are easy to fix. The grief is when one "follows the book" and still nothing works - thus the need for forums like this. have fun and see ya' around the forum.. |
