Roll Eyes Dull and boring . . . but brand new to the forum

Good morning, everyone! My name is Aspen. I was actually born four months too soon, to parents who didn't know I existed while they vacationed in Switzerland. From there, I am originally from New England (Washington D.C. to Connecticut to Maine to Vermont and finally to New Hampshire). I went to school at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, majoring in English Lit. I was a sub at a high school for a short time; I wound up quitting because I was being sent to schools where there were guns in every backpack. My interest being wholly in writing, I wound up in Dallas, Texas writing for a magazine that would go under in less than two years. I worked for Taylor Publishing in Dallas for a while before it became obvious that my literary "talents" were more profitable in otherwise unrespectable adult magazines and novels (and for what amounts to five hours of work per week pays better than a 40 hour week elsewhere, and I get to spend more time writing my "real" novels) and I also dance two to three nights a week for "savings." Yes, I'm brutally honest.

At last, why I am here, if anyone is still reading and not brain dead or fast asleep like me. I've run across this forum a few times when I was googling for computer questions; I liked the answers and the people so I joined. While I master any software program put before me in a matter of hours, I am hardware illiterate, which usually happens to be my problem. I am a Paint Shop Pro addict, so I am involved in several tutorial sites, yahoo groups that serve as forums for PSP, and currently assisting in a PSP v 11, online guide for the excessively confused. As I said, I have an innate ability to understand software, which shocked my third grade teacher who thought that I was ignoring him and "screwing up" the computer, when it turned out that he didn't have a clue as to how I got to certain points.

That's me in a nutshell, most likely you didn't want to know any of that, but I am a writer so I'm naturally talkative - or "writeative." You most likely are bored to death of me and can't imagine a single thing you want to know about me, but I'm pretty much an open book if you have questions. Thank you for letting me be part of this forum, I am very happy to be here.

Thanks,
Aspen
