Hiya all
I'm a newbie to somethings about computers, but I've been a programmer for almost 20 years now.
The things I can't fix on my own are usually VERY obscure, but I will try to update where I can with information I have found. I like to read, I'm an insomniac and I'm VERY determined .. my computers run the way that I want them to .. or I'll know the reason why. For example: I've just spent 4 days almost 24/7 trying to install ubuntu and drivers for my wireless card. I have greatly benefitted from your experience and expertise on my new (to me) averatec 3200 computer .. so .. in response to that I'm going to pass along the solutions I've foud to some of the questions I've asked and seen others struggling with. I hope to both be a service to others .. AND also get the help I need with my various computers. Thanks for listening .. & helping EAVawter p.s. I have a great sense of humor .. if these don't tell you that .. nothing will  to you all knowing Gods (more knowledgeable geeks) Hello don't know what I'd have done with out you *giggles* and yes I'm deppin' (sleep deprived) so I'll say bye now at myself for this post ( the end of it anyway)
