Introducing myself
Hi,
I have been using a computer since 97...started with Win 97 and have done the upgrades to Home Edition XP, have helped other friends with their computers and even managed to use a relic I bought in 97 as my first computer by adding some memory and performing an XP upgrade on it...it was a matter of economy and also environmentally, I just hate the thought of tossing a whole CPU into the dump (metaphorically). Yet, I have to describe myself as novice/intermediate. I keep the units updated, I have AV and AntiSpyware and Firewalls and Privacy Service....yet, from time to time, I suspect something sneaks by me. I work on several home computers, but the main computer is the one I will be posting a HJT log for....sometime later. Thanks for this great forum. |
