Old School Tech here...
Hi everyone.
I'm a very old-fashion kind of tech. I believe that a computer is a tool for productivity, a game system (xbox, ps, etc.) is for play, a phone is for talking and the internet is the information (not the entertainment) superhighway. I used to joke with my brother about Ghz cpu's with gigs of ram and teragigs of storage! I couldn't ever imagine filling my first 380MB hdd. Now my laptop has a 1.6Ghz cpu, an 80GB hdd, and can take 2GB of ram! Wow how technology has progressed. I work very hard at helping people get the most from the technology they have. I know some users Need the power that my laptop has and more, but the truth be told, for many it's all marketing, and many would be just as happy on a much less capable machine. I like to tech them how that is not only possible, but quite enjoyable too. I hope to give and get equally here. Looking forward to the ride.
