Thanks for the warm welcoming to Tech Support Forum. I have used various tech support groups before and sometimes(most times) I never get a hit on my question(s). Therefore will look forward to this site and see how you stack up.
I know just enough about computers to be dangerous but I never quit and in time I can usually work my way thru it.
My wife has progressive MS and so our philosophy is "Quitting is not an Option."
Again, thanks for the intro and looking forward when I stumble across a problem or major issue.

You are right, this place is great. 2 posts and replies came quickly and with great info. The threads you provided for system specs will be useful and more helpful in full disclosure when I run into another problem which will be sooner rather than later as I love to make things work better.

Thanks for "How to post system specs and will print and read these items before my next post. I also ran a Free Reg. Fix and found 816 problems!Yikes!!! Where's the cyanide at? My CPU, over 3 years old, runs ok and I ran the PCPITSTOP tests and for its age, it runs great. In 2007 I am going to be buying a new CPU and will ask for suggestions on what to get and where to get it from. So, for know, I am going thru the garage looking cyanide or rat poison and feed it to my CPU for a slow death.
