Hello there!

I'm Miffle, my hobbies include graphical art (Digital painting with a Wacom graphics tablet) and computers.

I'm from the UK

I have 3 computers, the oldest is 12 years or so old, windows 95 - a solid computer for typing with no frills.

My second is a 4 year old white box from a company called Time, I suspect the heatsink is gone and the fans are too low quality - it is way too hot but its not really an interest of mine anymore.

My third and primary sysytem is a custom build from pcspecialist.co.uk

AMD X2 4200+ socket 939

2X 1GB RAM

two 7800GTs running in SLI when gaming

Two 19inch CRTs running side by side for photoshop and general usage.

I am buying a mac so i'm hoping to get some advice from this forum, to learn and maybe to even teach - who knows?

Welcome to TSF, Miffle. Nice to have you with us. Your primary system is very similar to mine (X2 4200+, two 7800GTX's in SLI...) Enjoy your time here.

Indeed, though I'm not the only one. I'm just the only one to have a Daedric 'O' as his avatar.

I take it you're a fan too?

I'm a fan, alright. I may be terrible at it - give up then go and play an easier game terrible but I still love Oblivion.

Oh and v-six, i'll be checking out the section even when interested, not to worry.
