My first post here
When I registered, the welcome message suggested that I make my first post to this forum here - so, HERE!
A big hello to all. I am not at all new to computers, but still love reading and learning - and, who knows, perhaps I can offer some assistance, too. Right now, I have just finished recovering files that became "locked" on an external firewire drive - ran 'get data back now' to rescue what I could, and am now doing a deep format of the external drive (had to install it as a slave internally in my system to accomplish that). Anyhow, I decided to look for a computer forum to see what I can learn about file recovery in this situation to see if I missed anything in my attempt to save the data on the corrupted firewire drive.
