How's it going everyone?

My name is Vee and I happened upon this forum out of.. that's right.. you guessed it.. a need for tech support. Amazing eh? I'm more of a car person than I am a computer person.. but usually I can wing the latter. For those occasions that I can't, I can hopefully persuade amazingly intelligent and skilled individuals to help me out.

I have two computers that I use: 1) The 'Hudson Computer' which is a desktop in Hudson Beach running off of a cable modem and WinXP. 40gbhd/128mbddr and 2) The 'Hollywood Computer' being the new Presario V2000 also on WinXP but uses dialup in Hollywood. It's wireless capable. Those are all in Florida by the way. It's sorta obvious I'm only partially/marginally tech-savvy. But learning is fun, so what the heck.

I see that y'all have a car forum.. I think I might go scope that out before I make my desperate plea for aid in the Networking forum. Don't hesitate to drop a line to say Hello.. or talk cars.. or politics.. or the law.
