Cannot change username?

This is weird - just noticed that the client (in the command window) has my username as 'Iain' - but the config file shows Glaswegian. I did a re-config via the command window but it still shows as 'Iain' (That's me, number 63 on the stats page). Equally strange, there is no 'Work' folder in my FAH folder, but the client is merrily folding away - on something.

Thoughts?

OK found part of the answer - it's launch directory is in Documents and Settings, even although I always create a separate FAH directory on another partition. Which also explains the missing Work folder.

Can I just move the FAH files - I don't remember being able to configure the launch directory, or did I miss something?

That's a new one Glas....

Judging by the PPD you are producing, you're not running in SMP, if that's intentional why not just run the standard System Tray Client for Uniprocessor? If it's not intentional, then you need to make sure you are using the SMP flag when you launch F@H from CMD Prompt.

If you figure anything out on the name issue please let us know. I'll see if I can dig anything up later on tonight after work.

Hi Matt

I'm still using the SMP client. When I found the folder in Documents and Settings I simply copied over the config details from the normal FAH folder. So when it launches, it uses the username Glaswegian. The flags set are

-smp - verbosity 9

I think the last WU was just one of the smaller ones - it was 10 minutes for 1%. The current WU is back to the normal 18-20 minutes per 1%. I mentioned the updated executable for the SMP client here New SMP beta - now simply a 'drop in'
