Unstable System EUEs

I just switched to GPU2 (6.23) systray client from the x86 single core systray client. Anyone able to help me troubleshoot this issue? I was able to jury-rig the client into finishing my x86 systray work load for now, but I suspect it will quickly return to screwing up with EUE's due to unstable system again.

Anyone else having issues with FAHCore_11.exe? I looked on the main forums, and a few others are having issues. I have an NVidia GeForce 8400 GS on PCI interface. Any suggestions?

As to the A400GT, it died, I started using GPU2 when I got my PCI Slot GeForce 8400GS. The EUE's are intermittent. if I knew how to post a cut, I would, but as it is, I'll post a new log. Please Pardon the spam.

OK, you second post of the log file shows the EUEs that seemed to start with WU 5755. Try this:
Exit F@H
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your user account here"\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu and delete the Queue.dat file and the work folder.

If you don't see the "Application Data" folder click the "Tools" tab on Windows Explorer then Folder Options, View, and select "Show hidden files and folders". Click apply and OK.

When you restart F@H the files will be replaced. The WU that refuse to upload will be lost, but you be able to start folding again.

BTW, what driver are you using for your video card?

Driver I'll have to look up, though I have CUDA 2.1 Beta. Not overclocking the card to my knowledge.

You might want to give the new driver from Nvidia a try. It fully engages the video card and takes the load off your CPU. It has CUDA function built in.

I don't think you'll get much out of that 8400GS from a PPD stand point, but it might out perform the CPU client running on your A64 3200+.

Tyrrano Registered User Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: North Carolina Posts: 20 OS: XP Pro SP3 My System	Unstable System EUEs I just switched to GPU2 (6.23) systray client from the x86 single core systray client. Anyone able to help me troubleshoot this issue? I was able to jury-rig the client into finishing my x86 systray work load for now, but I suspect it will quickly return to screwing up with EUE's due to unstable system again.

Try this: Exit F@H Go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your user account here"\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu and delete the Queue.dat file and the work folder. If you don't see the "Application Data" folder click the "Tools" tab on Windows Explorer then Folder Options, View, and select "Show hidden files and folders". Click apply and OK. When you restart F@H the files will be replaced. The WU that refuse to upload will be lost, but you be able to start folding again. BTW, what driver are you using for your video card? It fully engages the video card and takes the load off your CPU. It has CUDA function built in.
