Re: I'm back Folding again

How are you getting on with the GPU2 client? I think Glas has the same graphics card as you and he was having trouble with the new client.

Re: I'm back Folding again

I'm not, I had it running great when I tried it about three weeks ago (ran it for about three days with no probs.) BUT this morning when i started my computer it gave me the (cudart, dll) error and closed down tried various fixes from the F@H forum with no result .
Then noticed that the SMP client was running TWO instances for only 20% on two of my four cores.
Tried to delete all and reinstall but it would not delete the folders (left them on C drive) Did system restore and they were still there.
Finally hard deleted them after a LOT of tries.
I will not install anything from F@H on my computer ever again.
They need to get their act together and release stable software.

Hi Brian.

I'm sorry to hear about your folding issues. Were you running the v6.22 SMP client by chance? If so, that was the root of the problem. It's still in beta and has known issues. In fact, they have extended the life of the older clients while the get the V6.22 releases bugs sorted out.

The GPU2 client seems to be rock solid for me so far after 3 weeks.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you won't be folding any longer.
